Level:   Easy walking, but tough conditions


Day 1: Arrive Leh


On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by the staff member and will be transferred

to y        our guesthouse. Your guesthouse will have warm water. Few tourist establishments are open around Leh at this time. Today you will be at complete rest, acclimatizing to the high altitude and low oxygen levels. Stay overnight at the guest house.


Day 2: Leh – Tilat Sumdo (3200 meters)


We start the day with an early morning drive to Tilat Sumdo by a private vehicle.    

On arrival we will be introduced to the staff and spend the day practicing walking on ice and stay at tents for the night.



Day 3: Tilat Sumdo – Shringa Koma (3250 m)


In the morning set out for a walk on ice of the frozen Zanskar river.    

Experience the Chadar, feel the thrill of adventure. Arrive at Shringa Koma and experience the night with the endless silence of the mountain, which is disrupted only by the crackles of freezing ice. Stay overnight at the camps/cave.


Day 4: Shringa Koma – Tibb (3300 m)


By morning continue with trekking towards Tibb. Reach at the campsite and stay overnight in the caves.  

Day 5: Tibb – Nyrak Pulu (3400 m)


In the morning, we start the trek going deep into an incredible maze of impressing canyons passing through frozen icefalls and find the human trace next to Nyrak Pulu. Stay overnight at the camps/caves.                

Day 6: Nyrak Pulu – Tibb

 Day 7: Tibb – Shingra Koma


Day 8: Shingra Koma – Tilat Sumdo and drive back to Leh


Day 9: Fly out of Leh


Buffer day ( extra day in case of bad weather or any other hazards, extra 2000/day would be charged in case this day is used)

Backpack offloading: Trekkers are expected to carry their own backpacks. If the trekker cannot carry his/her backpack due to physical inability, and chooses to offload on mules, this will be on additional cost.          

Air fares, airport taxes and anything not mentioned in the inclusions and itinerary.               

Meals, tea, coffee, mineral water, tips, transfers not mentioned in the i tinerary.

Doctor, telephone, laundry and other personal expenses.

Cost of personal emergency exit.


We provide tents on a twin share basis with complete arrangements, however on this particular trek, it is sometimes hard to set up tents in case of unstable ice, so caves may be a safer option. Guests may carry their own sleeping bags. Personal belongings may be carried in duffel bags or large rucksacks only. Drinking water is purified before serving the guest.       

Due to the extreme weather conditions, it is very hard to keep food stuff without freezing over, so meals on this trek are a combination of freshly prepared fare supplemented with dehydrated packaged meals, and lots and lots of chai!

Cancellation Policy

Life is unpredictable and we understand that sometimes you have to cancel or change your trip dates and it is our endeavor to make it as easy as possible for you. However, please understand that          we plan everything including guide fees, permits, accommodation and ration in advance. Therefore, any cancellation means inconvenience and certain losses to the people involved in various stages of             the programme. Keeping that in mind, our cancellation charges are as below –


Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the event: Full refund as cash

Cancellations between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the event: 50 % refund as cash.

Cancellations less than 15 days to the start of the event: No refund. Cancellations will be accepted only by email.


Note: The ADVENTURE24X7 reserves the right to cancel a programme before departure in the event of logistical problems arising due to natural calamities, strikes, wars or any other circumstances that make the event inadvisable. In this case, we will refund 50% of the event fees.
